Tailored Support for Professionals

I offer bespoke help and support designed to fit your staff, setting and priorities on all aspects of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Work begins with a 90 minute consultation, either in-person or online, to explore current challenges or priorities and co-create a plan for progress.

Sessions can be one off consultations around subjects specific to your setting. They might include a session around:

• Behaviours that challenge,

• Supporting communication and interaction skills,

• Supporting students with SEND in a play based environment or

• a consultation around a group of students with a similar profile of needs or

• a discussion about how to better include and maximise progress of a specific pupil

  (All work around pupils must have parental consent prior to any discussion).

Blocks of sessions can also be planned and may include:

• Regular visits working directly with a pupil or group of pupils around agreed targets

• Modelling to staff: demonstrating how to use specific strategies, adapt teaching styles, or create learning opportunities

• Training or information sessions focused on particular strategies or approaches

• Follow-up coaching sessions to help embed new skills and strategies

• Reviewing existing strategies, approaches or paperwork to establish clear next steps

• Support with multi-disciplinary cases, including designing learning plans that address multiple learning priorities
